Stefan Wikstrom— Chief Executive Officer

Kip Hauser

Stefan Wikstrom founded American Legal Copy (ALC) in 1996 with one employee and one copy machine. He has since built the company into the leading document management and eDiscovery firm in the Western U.S., providing innovative consultation-based solutions to clients locally and across the U.S. and internationally through its six locations.

With 20 years of experience in this industry, Wikstrom has assembled a team with a long tenure in both the legal services industry and TERIS through a very hands-on approach and vision for the growth of the company. Under his direction, TERIS has set the standards for quality and pioneered the transition from paper-based document management to digital technology-driven solutions. Under his leadership, TERIS has also achieved recognition as one of the Top 20 Electronic Discovery service providers in the prestigious 2008 Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey Report.

Prior to founding TERIS, Wikstrom was a service representative with NightRider/IKON Office Solutions where he was recognized as one of the top representatives nationwide. He received a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Washington State University.



Kip Hauser — Chief Operations Officer

Kip Hauser

Kip Hauser brings more than 21 years experience in the litigation services industry to his position as COO/Partner at TERIS. With expertise in identifying, streamlining and improving operations and communications, he is currently responsible for the operational vision of TERIS, including identifying, hiring and training many of the company's key personnel. Hauser has been with TERIS since 1997 and has been responsible for the company's growth into new markets by moving to and opening offices in San Diego, San Francisco and Palo Alto, increasing revenue from hundreds of thousands to more than $10 million/year in these offices.

In 2009, Hauser championed and created the company's National Account program, which focuses on developing high level relationships with Fortune 500 corporations and AM LAW 100 Law Firms, while also overseeing the opening of new offices in Chicago and Houston.

Previously, Hauser held sales positions with NightRider legal document services, as well as Lanier Worldwide, where he achieved the status of number one sales representative in the nation in his first six months with the company. While a regional sales manager for Kendall Healthcare, he took the northwest region from eighth to first nationally in sales within a year and a half of joining the organization.  Hauser has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and minor in Psychology from Washington State University.  He is active in his community serving on several non-profit boards, including the Bellevue Youth Soccer Association, where he currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors.



Peter vR Sternkopf — Chief Technology Officer

Peter vR Sternkopf

Mr. Sternkopf has more than 22 years of experience in business vision and strategy, business development, marketing, analysis, people development, project management, and delivering business value through innovation and technologies.
As the CTO of TERIS, he manages IT, oversees strategic initiatives, business partnerships, new products/services, sales training, and contributes to marketing initiatives.

Prior to joining TERIS, Sternkopf was a senior consultant with MA&A Group, handling technical, financial, and project management engagements for clients such as SunTrust Bank, YouDecide.com, Workstream, and several East Coast healthcare providers.  He also served in several positions with IKON Office Solutions, including regional director of electronic solutions and applications development manager.

Sternkopf received a Bachelor degree in Flight Technology from Central Washington University and a United States Air Force Officer commission as a pilot in the EuroNATO flight program. He is a Commercial/ Instrument/multi-engine pilot.

Some of his certifications include: Project Management Professional (PMP); Certified Microsoft  Exchange Server & Outlook Client; American Management Association (AMA) – Information Systems Project Management; AMA- The Art of Discipline of Managing Software Projects; Mooney Player & Associates- Leadership in Action; Steven Covey- Seven Habits of Highly Effective People; Center for Management and Organizational Effectiveness; Concordance Certified Software Trainer; and Concordance Certified FYI Administrator.



Kevin Brooks — President, Washington/California

Kevin Brooks

Kevin Brooks is responsible for TERIS offices in Seattle, San Francisco, Silicon Valley and San Diego. Kevin manages the facilities' day-to-day functions, including recruiting, hiring and training top talent in sales and production and ensuring client satisfaction. He works closely with COO Kip Hauser to improve efficiencies, further standardize procedures, operations and technologies across these offices. Kevin has more than 11 years experience in the industry. 

Brooks joined TERIS (then ALC Legal Technologies) in 2002 as a sales executive. After being named Managing Partner in 2007, he led the Silicon Valley office as the top revenue producing facility, a position it still maintains. In 2010 he proposed combining the Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices under a single Bay Area region and the move paid off with the two offices combining to bring in new record revenues and profits in the most recent fiscal year.

Prior to TERIS/ALC, Brooks was an Account Manager at Corporate Express, where he was recognized as the top representative bringing in the most new business in the northern California region. He received a bachelor's degree in Organization Communication with a minor in business from California State University, Chico.

Kevin is a member of the board of directors for Peninsula Boxing, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to serving underprivileged or at- risk youth as well as adult community members.



Patrick Conolly — Managing Partner, San Diego

Patrick Conolly

Patrick Conolly has more than 15 years of experience in sales and management in the document management and legal services industry, including 13 years with TERIS. He has been instrumental in the opening and management of several TERIS locations, including his current position as managing partner in San Diego since 2004.

Previously, Conolly served as account manager and sales manager for TERIS in San Francisco, before opening the company’s Palo Alto location as its managing partner. Before TERIS, Conolly was an account manager with IKON Office Solutions in San Diego. He is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with a master’s degree in Business Administration and a bachelor's degree in Business Management.



John Hartman — Managing Partner, Austin

John Hartman

 

John Hartman specializes in business development, management and sales of advanced eDiscovery and forensic technologies in his position as Managing Partner of TERIS in Austin, Texas. He brings 20 years of experience in the litigation support industry to the company, including 15 years as a general manager, partner or owner.

Working with the philosophy that “equal value yields long term success” Hartman has a driven focus to provide value to the customer, employee and company. Hartman attributes TERIS-Austin’s year over year growth to a culture where consistency and solution minded thought processes create customer and employee retention.  With oversight of the Texas marketplace, Hartman engages in all aspects of the customer relationship, from sales through process and workflow engineering.

Hartman founded TERIS-Austin (formerly Digital Discovery Solutions) in 2003. Before that time he held positions as partner at XCEL Document Solutions, general manager at RLS Legal Solutions and managing partner at IKON Document Solutions.



Richard Saldivar — President, Arizona/Texas

Richard Saldivar

Richard Saldivar has 19 years of substantial experience in litigation and business consulting, with a unique combination of experience and education in both the technology and business disciplines. He has led large, multi-disciplinary teams and transformed two companies within the electronic discovery services area and has experience in a broad spectrum of industries including high technology, professional services, entrepreneurial business and manufacturing.

Previously, Saldivar was president of the largest privately held Litigation Support Company in the United States, RLS Legal Solutions L.L.C. in Houston, Texas, primarily focused on litigation support. His background includes many years of management and cost containment experience, beginning with key management roles at United Parcel Service and IKON Office Solutions. During his tenure with UPS, he set many management and cost containment records and had the highest sales growth and volume growth in the company by bringing unique solutions to clients that included Dell Computer, GolfSmith and others. At IKON, he set numerous records for revenue growth, operating income and collection/cash flow while improving employee morale and productivity.



Claudine Schardijn — General Manager, San Francisco

Claudine Schardijn

Claudine Schardijn has more than 14 years of litigation technologies experience. She has spent the bulk of her time at TERIS consulting with high-level clients, helping them to better understand new technologies and providing them with solutions to lower costs and improve results. Schardijn has extensive business development experience in the litigation support industry, having managed and supported both AmLaw 200 and Fortune 500 clients. She has also acted as lead Project Manager for a high-level San Francisco Bay Area Fortune 100 company, where she worked on the largest merger in the corporation's history.

Schardijn is a member of the Silicon Valley chapter of Women in eDiscovery. She graduated from California State University - Sacramento with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Administration.



Shawn Sieck — Executive Vice President

Shawn Sieck

Shawn Sieck brings more than 10 years legal technology experience to his role as Executive Vice President in business development and eDiscovery consulting for TERIS. He became a Partner in 2008. Sieck is considered one of the best and most knowledgeable eDiscovery experts in the Litigation Support Services industry. He has created leading-edge solution sets for information governance & eDiscovery for AMLAW 100 and Fortune 500 Companies alike. These have been customized for specific needs and provide clients with repeatable best practices process.

Sieck has extensive training in a variety of technologies, including Relativity, X1 Social Discovery, iConectnXT and XERA, Cellebrite, FYI/Concordance, NUIX, EnCase Forensic training and has also obtained the Clearwell Certified Administrator certificate. He has also managed widely publicized ESI (Electronically Stored Information) collections (including mobile, server and device), processing, hosting, and production projects utilizing litigation support best practices.

Sieck was responsible for leading in the creation of TERIS Professional Services – which consists of former litigators and litigation support professionals. This team provides complete project management, case flow customization, and eDiscovery best practices. He also consults regularly with attorneys and executives to develop custom processes and procedures for collecting data, early case assessment, analysis, processing, discovery reviews, and production through modern litigation support technologies.

This expertise has led to training and public speaking engagements for corporations, law firms and industry organizations alike (including the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and ARMA).



Adam Wells - Vice President, Business Development and eDiscovery

Adam Wells

Adam Wells is an expert and thought-leader in the fields of eDiscovery and Information Governance. He has spent nearly a decade providing law firm and enterprise clients with strategic direction and best practice guidance on those issues, striving to deliver a repeatable process that ensures cost containment and risk mitigation. Adam frequently speaks and writes on a variety of related issues, from social media discovery to defensible deletion, and is particularly interested in the intersection of Big Data and enterprise eDiscovery. Prior to joining TERIS , Adam served as the eDiscovery lead for a large national law firm, where he devised and implemented eDiscovery plans for clients, crafted firm-wide eDiscovery guidelines, and counseled attorneys and clients on those procedures.



Andrew Bayer, CEDS - Director of Business Development

Andrew Bayer

With more than eight years experience and various certifications achieved (CEDS, RCSP) in the litigation support industry, Andrew Bayer offers valuable, experienced-based insight into the consultation and strategic development as it relates to Electronically Stored Information and eDiscovery. In recent years his personal clientele has expanded beyond the local San Diego based law firms to include a variety of in-house counsel, corporate litigation support and IT departments as well as AM Law 100 firms throughout the world. With a focus on strategy development, case by case consultation and solution deployment, Andrew's clients have come to expect strong focus on cost and time efficiencies and superior client service.
